Finally a day only spending with paper and colour. I feel alive again!
Plus: A bit of a mood-lifter for ~Meliadhor :3 I know you like that kind of kitties. No bg though since I had... honestly no idea what I could use as bg. <.< Ideas are very welcome. As always: Advanced critics highly appreciated! You'll get cookies! I don't think she will need a mature content warning... ok, no clothes, humanlike body... but nothing visible. ^^ ... I hope. O_o CommentsBeautiful. I love that so many colours were used, but they manage not to be overpowering.
-- When people say you have a big head and then say they are joking, it is not because they have suddenly changed their mind. It is because they have suddenly realized that if they anger you, you might smash them with it. i think a desert theme would work here, but the coloring and body form is just so pretty. fantastic work
-- I'm a brother in several different countries. talk about having a diverse family I'm Bert Raccoon in the deviantART Cartoon Obsessions Crew! All what I have to say now I wish I could snatch those colours of her wings...well blended colourful anything = another win.
... I don't think this is worth of mature warning... <.< -- Whatever I'm Duftmon in dA's Digimon Crew. Oh wow, the sketch was awesome enough, but the colors make it truly awesome and beautiful. I like how you incorporated the tiny feathers as well into her fur. Though I guess they can also be scales, but I like to think of them as feathers cause they make her seem fluffier.
For a BG, the only thing I can think of is her hopping down from rock to rock, but in the end it's up to you. And I personally see no reason for a Mature Content warning really. -- Current story status: 400+ pages done. Still working. I am not looking forward to proofreading it. *shifty eyes* |

The rendering (initial design through coloring) is tight and professionally done. I wish I had your technique. The nudity is tasteful. The placement in the composition is nice. Overall, this is an awesome piece except that the final presentation needs a little bit of extra "oomph."
What I mean by this is that whenever most authors create an interesting character or creature, they present this character "as is" on a white page: "Here I am." That's okay as far as presentation is concerned, but if you really want your piece to stand out, you should offer some degree of context. Show the character interacting with its environment or with other characters and give some context and background to make the character truly special. Even some sort of pattern will make the composition stand out.
