The sandman is a mythical creature in western folklore that brings dreams by sprinkling sand into the eyes of people. But who said it has to be humanoid?

I think my copics hate me after this one. d: Tried a lot of techniques, just for the fun. Most of them were rather harsh on the equpiment.

Lots of Skyrim-OST while coloring~

Thank you! :D And which part do you mean? The red-gradient through the dragon away from the light source or the sand itself?

*gg* I kept the area as white as I could during the painting, but then added a layer of white acrylic to clean up the borders again. Onto that layer I dripped some color from markers, then blurred it a bit with cleaning liquid (or just alcohol, works too. Nailpolish-remover and so on). :)

Does that help?

It leaves the better "water splatter effect" than water does. d: And always again. Just try it out and it will soon be pretty clear. Though it DOES sound confusing when you just hear it like that.
