In the beginning it was supposed to be one of those dragons that live outside of our dimension. Something like a Void-dragon. Darkness-Elemental. And strongly imspired by the Name Noise of the enemies in the new Sqare game.
I'm still not sure if I should submit it as creature for that game. ^^' What do you think?

Now it's more one of the old ones out of the stories of Lovecraft, the one who invented the Necronomicon (remember? Book written in blood on human skin. If you read it madness will take over your soul and devore whatever you think you were and so on...).

I definitely think you should submit this for the contest. I mean why not? No harm can come from it right? It has a really interesting design. Man I wish I could enter this contest too (not that I expect them to use my stuff) but sadly, being a slave to life's demands forbid me from doing so :( And I have my first exam on the 15th! So I can't even think about what to submit. Ah well..next year maybe? ^^;

Ah, yes.. Necronomicon... Now with that book there's a really crazy story, ye know? Poor Lovecraft claimed that it was all but his imagination, but even as he lived, people didn't believed him...

And I'm pretty damn sure that I has this monster of yours in a jar on me shelf...

That thing is definitely crazy looking :O I really love the head in particular. I like the fact that it has no eyes to sort of go along with the "darkness" theme. The tentacles would probably be hard to animate in-game! But of course this is just an "idea" contest so I'd say go for it XD
