The last time I commented I gave you a small crit without realizing I could give you a bigger one so I will endeavor to correct that give you some constructive advise this way instead of throwing it in with everything else! I love the fun Mucha/ Disney Hercules mix you have going on! I also love the slightly brighter colors too! Everything's so flowing and... well... pretty! As with most (if not all) of your work, you always show an element of action, like the character is moving. Even in this one, the character seems to be standing still but everything else around the character seems to be flowing from him. I do want to point out one or two small things however. The lower arms I am lead to believe are meant to be smaller, that's fine, however, the lower arm that is not holding the staff seems even smaller than it's brother. It feels stunted, especially in comparison to the one above it. It may have something to do with the angle of how the hand is facing. I really do commend you on your experimenting with colors outside of black and gray! Personally, I try not to use black unless I have to because it tends to deaden space instead of activate it. I think your use of texture in the background was a smart move and well placed. Can I make a small suggestion? It would be really cool if you could find another way to "watermark" your pieces. I understand their use but in a way it subtracts from the image that you work hard to create. Try sneaking in a signature or a logo that you know about (and isn't easily photoshopped out) but won't hinder your work so that way, if it does get stolen, you can point that out and verify who it belongs to. I enjoy viewing your work. You make beautiful and mythical images that capture peoples imaginations. Keep experimenting and stretching your skill! I hope I was at least a little helpful! Have a Happy Holidays!
