More Acrylics. Trying out a few other things, though I still tend to struggle with this media. It still feels clumsy in comparison to other media I used so far. Got a few plans with this one still, though. Next steps will be done... as soon as I stop playing Theatrhythm... (yay, got Sephiroth. >:3 )
Have been listening to a lot of the Guild Wars 2 OST. Fantastic music, I really recommend it as background while drawing. [link] [link]
A3, Canson Paper with Linen Canvas Texture. Works better for me than the boards, it seems. Plus, I can scan it. Which is a huge plus! Acrylics and a blue fineliner.
I really loved this piece because it sets a really nice mood the first time you look at it; mysterious and enchanting, yet foreboding all at once. The different emotions clash, but still are able to work together beautifully. I thought that your technique was amazing because you were able to capture minute details even with the difficult media and this having been your first time, so 4.5 stars for that! You also made the colours work really well together, and the different styles of art you mixed into the piece really made it pop and pleasing to the eye.
I just wish this was a 16:9 wallpaper so I could keep looking at it at all times. Amazing job. I love the outlining of the clouds, makes it so fantastical and somehow a little... happy I think xD
Thank you very much! Sadly, the size is not very good for a wallpaper. But I do have a bigger scan of it (at least I hope so! Has to be somewhere on the HD!). You can tell me which part you want and I can send you the bigger version of it?
Holy Shizwhaz really?! <3 that'd be amazing. closer to the top and to the left would be best, to get the castle and the cloud with some details and whatnot. Oh dear Lord I want it xD
No problem. ^^ Like I said: Parts of a drawing are rarely a problem to share. Though I will soon delete the files from my stash again (they take a lot of space there), so make sure you got it downloaded.

Great work!
